Leanne Muffet Founder & Managing Director

Managing Director Leanne Muffet, is a strategist, award-winning project manager, a planner and an engagement specialist.  Her work has been described as ‘transformative’.
She has held progressive roles in academia, local and state government, peak bodies, an international design firm and with the Deputy Prime Minister’s Office.
She designs and applies engagement practices to grow legacies.

Over the past 20 years Leanne has applied her expertise around Australia to deliver tangible and sustainable outcomes in a variety of projects. With a diverse background in Human Environments, Corporate and Environmental Planning and Social Science, Leanne is proficient in cultural change, project management, engagement and integrated outcomes.

Leanne has extensive strategic and leadership experience in complex multilateral projects. This includes working with the Deputy Prime Minister’s Office (2002-2005) where she built and delivered a $12million regional sustainability program, managing stakeholder engagement for the City of Adelaide’s Carbon Neutral Plan, and leading the $1.6 million SA Strengthening Basin Communities program working with 11 councils to implement climate change readiness along the River Murray.  Her dedication to applying ethical and transparent corporate governance ensures that projects leave a legacy of increased skills and capacity within agencies and communities.

Leanne’s qualifications include an award-winning Social Sciences Honours degree (Geography and Psychology), graduation from the Governor’s Leadership Foundation (2004) and a Diploma of Sustainability (2013), including studies in carbon accounting.

Leanne brings depth, cognitive psychology, clear communication and intellectual rigour to discussions. Her work has been recognised through four awards from the Planning Institute of Australia (PIA), and commended by the International Association for Public Participation (IAP2).   Systems thinking is in Leanne’s DNA.
